Re-Engineering Your Career Workshop
Join Bettina Byrd-Giles in a workshop targeted to individuals who have been laid off, are unemployed or underemployed. It is based upon a forthcoming book on non-traditional career paths and steps to finding what you are meant to do with your life. There is no set fee for the workshop, however, monetary donations based upon your ability or bartering services is requested. Lessons from an 80's Alumna 
Someone on Facebook asked for a more detailed response. Here is what I told her:
I wrote a book that is a narrative of my career, but also an example of a meandering career path that is common among liberal arts majors or people who are looking for that isn’t listed in the Occupational Outlook Handbook. I took career courses as an undergrad and grad. As a university administrator, I found that most people left college without fully utilizing their career centers. Some career centers were not prepared to help people truly figure out their passion. I also read several books that had part of the answer, but not the total path that it took to figure out what I was here for.
I have given a two part seminar in past years on finding what you were meant to do. It is also an opportunity for people to feed off of each other’s creativity.
